Nick Boden is a Chiropractor by profession but has worked in a medical environment for all of his professional career and enjoys a large referral rate from medical doctors and surgeons. He has been blessed to have been able to attend and work at numerous sports events around the world including World Cup Hockey, Olympic Games and commonwealth games. Nick Boden has consulted to international medical companies and Malaysian companies and has presented lectures and papers in China, Italy, France and Gemany. |

Neil Stakes

Neil Stakes is a member of the Chiropractic Association of South Africa (CASA). He has worked with the South African National Field Hockey Team and served on the academic staff at the Technikon Natal before being recruited to Singapore in 2001. Since then he has joined The Singapore Chiropractic Association and has held various positions on the executive committee, including President, Vice-President, Secretary and Hon Treasurer.
His drive to improve clinical outcomes for his patients has fueled his thirst for constant upgrading of skills and he is Singapore's only ATRAD certified shockwave therapy practitioner and he was the first Kinesiotaping Association certified chiropractor in Singapore. Dr Stakes has improved the available technology in his clinic that sets a new benchmark in service delivery.

Kenneth originally from New Zealand, has been a practising chiropractor for 26 years both in Auckland, NZ & London. His introduction to chiropractic was as the result of a serious motorcycle accident he suffered at aged 20 years which resulted in 6 months in hospital fighting for his life followed by 3 months in a specialised spinal rehabilitation unit learning to walk again. When being informed by consultants that he would always have a limp & would never run again Kenneth sought the help of a rehabilitative chiropractor who devised a rehabilitation program for him of spinal adjustments, exercise & nutritional supplements & within six months Kenneth was back playing sports. The results were most impressive & within time Kenneth decided to pursue a career in Chiropractic. He studied at the renowned Sherman College of Chiropractic USA & graduated in 1987 with both Honours & Clinical Excellence award for his graduating year. On returning to New Zealand Kenneth established several very successful family based clinics in Auckland. In 2007, he immigrate to London to establish a clinic in the renowned medical mile of Wimpole/Harley Street W1, where the majority of international patients were bankers, commodity traders, solicitors & people of the film industry. In Dec 2013 Kenneth decided to move to Kuala Lumpur.

David Miller DC, our senior Chiropractor, and Clinic Shareholder has been involved in healthcare since the 1970's, first as a massage therapist, then later as a Doctor of Chiropractic for the last 25 years. He is from California, USA, where he had a large personal injury practice near San Francisco He has also been a long term expat, working all iver the world, including Ghana West Africa, Qatar, in the middle east, Indonesia, and lastly Malaysia.
He's been here in Kuching four years now. He and his lovely Indonesian wife Icha enjoy travel, cooking, eating out, and beach related activities. A quiet evrning at home with a good book, a good video or some close friends is their idea of a good time.

Surendiran Rajkumar

Surendiran Rajkumar is part of the pioneer batch of Malaysian trained chiropractors from International Medical University (IMU). Accredited by the Council on Chiropractic Education Australasia (CCEA), he graduated with Bachelors of Science in Chiropractic with honours in 2014. Prior to this he obtained a degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Auckland, New Zealand. He has special interest in scoliosis and arthritic disorders. Suren is currently based in Spine & Joint clinic in Kuching.

Norman Marszalek

Norman Marszalek qualified at the Durban University of Technology in South Africa in 2002. He was attached to numerous sports teams as their Team Chiropractor including the Natal Mens Hockey Team & the South African Students Sports teams from 2000 to 2002. During this period he also treated VIP's at the Singita lodges in the Kruger Park, a world famous and multi-award winning hotel group. Dr Norman ran the Kimberley Hospital Chiropractic Clinic for 3 years in the Northern Cape. This clinic still remains the only successful Chiropractic Clinic in a national hospital in South Africa. From 2005 to July 2011 he was in private practice in Cape Town South Africa where he ran a successful family orientated Chiropractic Center.
He moved to Malaysia in 2011 to be clinic director of a Chiropractic centre in Penang and has recently joined us in Kuala Lumpur, to add his wealth of experience and expertise to implement our evidence based model of integrated physical medicine.

Leah Kieffer

Leah Kieffer graduated with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Western Ontario, Canada in 2008 after completing a Specialized Honours degree in Health Science. She consolidated her skills at a large hospital in Vancouver, Canada, and has spent time practicing in an amputee clinic in Haiti before joining Global Physical Medicine Services in Kuala Lumpur. Leah has been a clinical instructor for students at the University of British Columbia, and has been a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association since 2006.
Leah has pursued postgraduate training in manual therapy, kinesiotaping, BPPV (benign paroxysmal positional vertigo), as well as Mulligan and Mckenzie treatment techniques. She enjoys working with a variety of patient populations including children, and has a special interest in shoulder injuries and post-operative rehabilitation.

Zul Aidi

Zul Aidi Sudiro qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2009 from MAHSA University College, Malaysia. He has also been certified by the Kinesio Taping Association International (KTAI) as a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner in 2012. He has, over the last 3 years, worked in the field of Musculoskeletal and Sports Injuries in a few different Physiotherapy Clinics. Zul is currently based in Spine & Joint Clinic in Kuantan. Zul's other special interests are in Soft Tissue Manipulation, and Strength and Conditioning Programs.

Jonathan Goh

Jonathan graduated from Masterskill University and College of Nursing and Health, Kuala Lumpur in 2009. He was attached to the Medical Support Personnel Division for the Paralympic Games, KL in 2008 and attended numerous internships in sports centres around Kuala Lumpur. During the H1N1 epidemic, he was posted to Putrajaya Hospital for a brief period of time to treat and care for terminal patients within the ICU and neonatal wards.
With 5 years of experience treating musculoskeletal and sports injuries with cutting edge technologies, he is now currently working as the Head of the Physiotherapy Department in Spine and Joint Kuching. His ultimate goal is providing affordable alternative solutions to patients and to promote preventive medicine through exercise and leading a healthy lifestyle.

Yuli Arnita Pakpahan, graduated with a bachelor of Science in Physical therapy degree in 2009 from Binawan Health Science Institute in, Jakarta Indonesia. While at the institute, she studied the International Fitness Professional Association certificate and produced a paper on balance exercise for elderly and published in the Journal of Physiotherapy and Science Indonesia presenting her research at Ikatan Fisioterapi Indonesia. She specialises in the field of spine problems and sports orthopaedics problems. She also trains Binawan physiotherapy students how to use the Redcord device. She uses myofascial release and exercise therapy using redcord and stretching, 3D newton for diagnosis and training and dynamic traction. She is a dedicated and talented Physiotherapist and is proud to be part of the Spine and Joint team.
